Jennifer Williams and Evelyn Lozada were involved in a heated fight on the season four premiere episode of VH1's Basketball Wives on Monday evening (February 20, 2012). A feud between the pair had begun on the season finale of season three, when Evelyn learned that Jennifer had commented on her love-life during a radio interview.
According to the Huffington Post, Lozada had taken the remarks to heart and the feud erupted when Jennifer allegedly wrote a blog post mentioning her Basketball Wives co-star. The producers of the show brought the duo together in the hope they would sit down and work things out, but it wasn't to be and the beef turned into a war of words which almost turned physical. A shocked Lozada was seen yelling, "I'm gonna punch you in your mother*cking face", with Jennifer replying, "If you had an issue with me, I would have preferred you come talk to me than discuss it with everybody else". The meeting ended on a sour note, and it seems as though the duo's feud will make up the majority of the second season of Vh1's hit show. Besides the fight, the season premiere introduced a couple of new faces to the basketball wives clan, including aspiring singer Kenya Bell and dancer Kesha Nicols.
According to TMZ.com, the reality show is looking to land Kobe Bryant's wife VANESSA BRYANT to appear on the show. A source said producers had tried numerous times before, but due to budget restraints were unable to persuade Bryant to appear. The insider said, "Producers knew Vanessa would be very expensive -- but now that BW's one of the highest rated shows on the network, producers have lots more to spend on talent".
