Jessica Alba feels like she is "officially" a mother now she is having a second child.

The 30-year-old actress - who already has three-year-old daughter Honor with husband Cash Warren - has already begun getting a nursery prepared, but is particularly excited about expanding her family because it takes parenting "to another level".

She said: "It feels like you're really officially, really truly a mother when you have two kids. One kid you're a mother for sure but two takes it to another level."

Discussing her baby room plans, she added: "I use stains and paints that are eco-friendly and safe."

The 'Spy Kids' star is particularly happy with husband Cash because he has been helping her out.

She added to People.com: "He's been very agreeable since I've been pregnant!"

Jessica has previously revealed she is already planning how to get her body back into shape following her pregnancy.

She said: "Working out every day for even just 45 minutes is good for my mental state.

"Getting dressed and actually doing it is the worst. It's hard to get motivated.

"In the gym, I have, like, five things to distract me: TV, iPod, magazines.

"Working partners are good, too, so you can chat and not just drown in your own misery. Sorry, does that sound bad? I just hate working out."
