Jessica Simpson was evidently keen to leave no stone unturned in the preparation for the birth of her new girl Maxwell Drew; it's been revealed that the star spent time in a birthing suite which cost a whopping $4000 per day to book out. Crikes. That beats a paddling pool and a couple of shots of whiskey in your back garden any day.
The UK's Daily Mail has snaps of the mighty suite, based in Los Angeles. The Cedars Sinai Medical Centreh as a top suite featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms - with "salon services such as haircut and style, manicure and pedicure' also available for mothers to be," it also contains a refrigerator stocked with "complimentary chilled juices and bottled water" as well as a "stereo/CD player, flat screen television and Dvd player."
The room rivals Beyonce's impressive looking birthing suite that she and Jay Z rented out when Blue Ivy Carter was born into the world earlier in the year. Tmz reported that it contained 4 flat screen TV's, state of the art electronics, a kitchenette, nice art, mahogany walls and plush furnishings. Apparently the suite was always constructed with the view that Beyonce would be the first customer to use it.
