Sixties music mogul Joe Meek has topped a new list of great record producers, beating the likes of Sir George Martin and Quincy Jones.
British music magazine NME compiled the list of studio greats and Meek, who produced records by Billy Fury, Dame Shirley Bassey and Gene Vincent, came out on top.
The Beatles' producer George Martin is second, while Jones comes in third.
Chic co-founder Nile Rodgers and disgraced music maker Phil Spector round out the top five.
