John Galliano - John Galliano To Teach Fashion Students
Disgraced designer John Galliano is reportedly planning to move his career in a different direction by taking up a teaching role.
The fashion mogul plunged into a downward spiral when he was accused of hurling anti-Semitic abuse at a couple during a night out in Paris, France in February, 2011 and the controversy cost him his job as head designer at Christian Dior.
Galliano, who admitted he was battling a drink problem at the time, is now set to make his comeback by taking on a role with fellow fashion designer Oscar de la Renta in New York, and it has emerged he is also reportedly planning to teach.
He is considering taking up a lecturer position at a top fashion college, according to the New York Post's gossip column Page Six.
A source tells the publication, "John is taking things slowly. He would like to do some teaching at a fashion school, more one on one with students rather than lecturing to a large group. He hopes to finalise a deal with a school soon. It may not even be in the U.S."
The news comes just days after it was revealed Galliano is taking his former bosses at Dior to court over accusations he was unfairly dismissed.
