Rocker John Mayer is set for an awkward encounter with his ex Taylor Swift - he has joined her as a performer at the Academy of Country Music Awards this weekend (07Apr13).
The newly-single Daughters singer/songwriter, who was linked to Swift in late 2009, will go country for the night when he teams up with Brad Paisley for Sunday's show in Las Vegas, where the Love Story hitmaker is also billed to hit the stage, reports People.com.
Other performers include Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Tim MCGraw, Miranda Lambert and co-hosts Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan.
Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Trisha Yearwood, Sheryl Crow and Keith Urban are also set to make appearances at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
