Computer expert John Mcafee has landed back home in America after he was deported from Guatemala.
The software mogul, who is the brains behind the world's most famous anti-virus computer program, has been on the run since last month (Nov12) when authorities in Belize declared he was wanted for questioning in connection with the death of his neighbour.
MCAfee fled to Guatemala, where he was arrested on suspicion of illegally entering the country, and he was deported to Miami, Florida this week (beg10Dec12), telling reporters, "I'm happy to be going home. I've been running through jungles and rivers and oceans and I think I need to rest for a while. And I've been in jail for seven days."
Authorities in Belize still want to talk to MCAfee about the death of retired builder Gregory Faull, who was found dead at a house on the island of Ambergris Caye.
Police spokesman Raphael Martinez says, "He will just be under the good will of the United States of America. He is still a person of interest, but a U.S. national has been killed and... people want him to answer some questions."
MCAfee, who moved to Belize in 2008, has denied any involvement in his neighbour's death.
