Johnny Depp came face-to-face with his greatest Hollywood impersonators on TV in America on Tuesday (08May12) after U.S. funnyman Jimmy Kimmel rounded up a group of look-alike streetwalkers to meet their hero.
The 48 year old has inspired a group of doppelgangers to dress up like Depp's most famous film characters and earn spare cash posing for photos with tourists on Hollywood Boulevard, where Kimmel films his late-night show Jimmy Kimmel Live!
And they all met the movie star during his appearance on the show on Tuesday.
The icon was introduced to two men posing as Captain Jack Sparrow from Depp's Pirates of the Caribbean film series, another as the titular character from Edward Scissorhands, an additional look-alike as vampire Barnabas Collins from his upcoming movie Dark Shadows and a final devotee as Willy Wonka from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Flattered Depp later fielded questions from each of the aficionados, subsequently giving each of them his seal of approval after carefully surveying their outfits and make-up, telling the group, "I give you (all) a 10."
