I know for a fact why women adore him is that he is Gorgeous Looking Guy.This guy can looks like not shave and long hair and he still Gorgeous but any other guy look like need to clean up

I AM AN OLDER FAN OF JOHNNY DEPP.I CAME HOME FROM WORK FOUND INSIDE ACTORS STUDIO.I DID NOT KNOW HIM,BUT WHEN THE SHOW WAS OVER IT WAS WOW WOWWHAT A WONDERFUL YOUNG MAN.NOW I HAVE ALL HIS MOVIES.WENT TO SEE 'RANGO'' TODAY,,.GOOD GOING WHEN IS RUM DAIRY GOING TO BE IN THEATHERS.I AM A FAN,AND I AM 72 YOUNG I HAVE A SON THAT IS THE SAME AGE AS JOHNNY IS,,6-9-63----7-4-63.

I was about to comment:Does Johnny Depp have any idea of why people love him.The previous comments I totally agree with.Went to see Rango today.After seeing the clips of the actors "especially Johnny" acting out their parts...........was a must see,and worth it.I just watched "Dead Man" with J.Depp. a most unusual film in black and white.I "NEVER "watch a film again until a couple of years have gone by,that is....... until Mr Depp started making films.I too look forward to everything he does in the future.

I am the hugest Johnny Depp fan and the reason for this is simple, he is a great actor. I love his shyness and his sheer disbelief that women would find him attractive but I think he is a beautiful man. He dresses down, wears glasses when he does not require them, to not draw attention to himself and I like that. He does not take himself too seriously and keeps himself to himself. Yes he has had a number of girlfriends but he has always remained faithful whilst in a relationship. I would never wanto to meet him, purely because to me he is this "idol" and people are usually disappointed if they meet their idol. I love men over 6 FT and I know Johnny is way shorter than that, probably 5`6" which is shorter than me! My husband of nearly 30 years is my dream and reality and Johnny is my "idol" and I for one think he is the sexiest "celebrity" on the planet.

I am 57 and do not really consider Depp a sex symbol [as in I wish I were younger and his girlfriend] but he is and has been for 25 years, facinating to me. I love his unique characterizations, I love his bone structure and his modesty and I love how he can be so "On" when he's acting and so shy and retiring when he is giving interviews. I totally believe that he is the best actor I've seen since he's been acting [early 80's]. Any actor can read lines or follow a director's instructions, acting a ready-made character. Depp,however, makes his own characters and acts them to perfection. To me, that is an actor. I love it that Depp came from humble, angst ridden roots but adores his mother, is intelligent and self taught [quit school at 15] has ecletic tastes in everything from wine to music to friends and is a wonderful father. I know he started out wild, on drugs and seemed like he'd be a fast burn out, but I too had a very angst ridden youth, and have my own demons [lack of self esteem being right there] and I can easily see how he can look in the mirror and not see the wonderful, charismatic, very attractive [in the true sense of the word] looking back at him. I can also see how an actor like Depp who puts everything he has into every role would be off-put to always be refered to for his "sexiness" and not for his phenominal acting. How many stars can even act in a cartoon and break records? His Ichabod and his Captain Jack, and the gypsy in Chocolat, and his Inspector in "From Hell" lightened my day and their memories stay with me. I'm a fan, but not only because Depp is beautiful, [by all acounts] is a very humane, nice guy, but because he is truly an entertainer. We can afford to only go to the movies once or twice a year. This year as in other years, it is [Depp] We've been to the big screen for "Alice", "The Tourist" and will go to "Pirates" on May 20. By the way, loved Depp and Jolie in "The Tourist". Not his best but at least a 7. Why the bad reviews???I cannot wait for his Tonto in "Lone Ranger" and his Barnabas in "Dark Shadows". I know he'll take me into a wonderful world. Johnny if you're reading this- Cast Viggo M. as the Lone Ranger and I'll be in heaven.
