Jon Bon Jovi has broken his silence following his teenage daughter's reported overdose last week (14Nov12), calling the incident a "tragedy".
Stephanie Rose Bongiovi was taken to hospital after an ambulance crew found her unresponsive in her dormitory at Hamilton College in New York.
The 19 year old was placed under arrest after cops discovered a "small quantity" of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a search of her dorm room, but charges were dropped the following day.
Her rocker dad has remained quiet about the emergency, but on Tuesday (20Nov12) he thanked fans for their support in the wake of the incident.
Bon Jovi tells Los Angeles news station Fox 11, "This tragedy was something that I had to face too so we'll get through it. People's warm wishes for my family and I have been really reassuring. So, we're good."
