Julian Lennon refuses to watch biopics about his father John Lennon because inaccuracies about The Beatles legend infuriate him.
Singer Julian, John's son with his first wife Cynthia, has no interest in watching biographical films about the rocker as they tarnish treasured memories of his dad.
He tells Britain's Metro newspaper, "I don't watch them. I know him from when I was with him and from being with (half-brother) Sean and (Lennon's widow) Yoko, so it's redundant for me to see a film only to get upset at the misinformation in there."
Julian also admits he can't bear to visit statues of the Imagine hitmaker, adding, "Another annoyance is seeing statues in honour of my dad, which is a nice sentiment but sometimes they don't look anything like him. Some of them are monstrous. Just because it's of a man with long hair, round glasses and a beard doesn't mean they look like him."
