Juliette Binoche has made peace with fellow French star Gerard Depardieu after he criticised her acting skills.
The pair fell out in 2010 after the Green Card star belittled Binoche's talents and career seemingly without provocation, telling Austrian magazine Profil, "I would really like to know why she has been so esteemed for so many years. She has nothing. Absolutely nothing! She is nothing."
Binoche admits she was hurt by his comments, but she put the spat behind her by confronting Depardieu during a chance meeting on a shopping trip.
She tells The Sunday Times' Culture magazine, "I bumped into him in the market and I went up to him and said, 'What's going on with you? Why do you need to be so mean?' And he said, 'Don't pay attention, I'm stupid.'"
