Justin Bieber could face legal action after two people in Texas claimed the 18-year-old pop sensation coaxed millions of his Twitter followers into harassing them over the phone. The case relates to one of Bieber's posts on the micro-blogging site, in which he randomly tweeted a phone number with the caption "Call me right now".
According to Tmz.com, after noticing the number was missing the final digit, over a million of his followers attempted to guess what it might be. As a result, two people in Texas, an old woman named Dilcie and a man named Kent, claim their phones were ringing non-stop and have now sought legal advice. The lawyer representing both individuals said her clients' patience "wears thin" after receiving over 1,000 phone calls at all hours of the day - they want the problem solved and Justin to be held accountable for his "reckless behavior". The legal team are willing to make it easy for the teen star, suggesting he should provide free concert tickets for Dilcie's grandchildren, a formal apology, an endorsement for Kent's upcoming online project and damages for out of pocket expenses. According to the lawyer, Bieber "better play ball, or else".
Just last year, Charlie Sheen received thousands of calls from fans after accidently tweeting his cell-phone number on Twitter - the original post was intended to be a direct private message to, you guessed it, Justin Bieber.
