Justin Bieber is keen to go back to Canada when he is ready to have a family so his children will be born and raised in his home nation.
Justin Bieber wants his children to grow up Canada.
The 17-year-old pop star - who was born in London, Ontario, and grew up in Stratford, Ontario - is keen to return to his native country when he is a bit older and ready to start a family, but would still like to maintain a house in Los Angeles.
He said: "I think it would be cool to get a condo out here, but eventually I'll probably want to move back to Canada and raise my family. Why? I dunno, I'm Canadian, I feel like I want my kids to be Canadian."
The 'Baby' hitmaker - who is currently in a relationship with 'Monte Carlo' star Selena Gomez - believes being Canadian is better than being a US citizen because it means foreigners are nicer to you.
He added to TMZ.com: "If you travel round the world and put a Canadian sticker on your bag, they'll be nicer."
Justin - who has achieved worldwide pop superstardom - has previously admitted he does sometimes crave a normal life and would like to go back to Stratford and be with his mother Pattie.
He said: "Now that I'm here, I sometimes wish I could just go back home and chill. But if I was at home and I wasn't doing this, I'd wish that I was in this position."
