Kanye West debuted a brand new song at Sunday night's Bet Awards in Los Angeles, singing 'New God Flow' with Pusha T - a single they gave been teasing for the past week, reports MTV News.
The rappers had the audience in raptures as they premiered the new track, which begins with a vocal sample of Ghostface Killah's Mighty Healthy' from his 2000 album 'Supreme Clientele'. The Wu-Tang Clan star is heard saying "Shake that body, party that", in the opening few seconds. 'New God Flow' actually ends up being markedly different from 'Mighty Healthy', and samples its drums from the Melvin Bliss 1973 record 'Synthetic Substitution'. It's down to Pusha T to start things of lyrically, spitting, "I believe there's a God above me, I'm just the God of everything else, I put holes in everything else, new God flow, f*ck everything else". Pusha is certainly in good form as of late, appearing on G.O.O.D Music's 'Mercy', and also his own track 'Exodus 23:1'. 'New God Flow' concludes with Kanye taking aim the competition, saying, "I'm way fresher than all my foes, somebody please pick out they clothes".
West certainly appears to be at the top of his game as of late, and he and Jay Z scooped the award for 'Best Video' and 'Best Group' at the Bet Awards. The pair's front row position with Beyonce and Kim Kardashian also ensured the evening was well and truly focused on the Watch the Throne collaborators.
