Kate Middleton Gets Wedding Day Hair Advice
Kate Middleton has been advised to wear her hair up when she marries Prince William next year as experts believe it will compliment her face more.
The brunette beauty's engagement to the future British king was announced earlier this week and speculation has been rife on what Kate will look like on her big day in London next year.
Now two of the city's leading hairdressers have spoken about how they think Kate's tresses should be styled and both agreed she should have an up-do.
Karine Jackson - who owns the prestigious Karine Jackson salon in London's West End - told BANG Showbiz: "Her hair is very long and you could lose her face, plus wearing it down will take away from the dress, so I would go for sweeping softly back with big luscious bouncy curls suspended at the back of her head. I would hope Kate's contemporary glamour style would translate into her wedding as this look would suit her perfectly."
Errol Douglas - who created Emilia Fox's wedding hair - recommended a chignon for Kate and thinks it would look better without a veil.
He said: "My favourite hairstyle for a bride has to be the classic chignon. It's understated, can be worn with a veil or simply accessorised for a more modern finish, and works with any style of dress. For a more interesting finish, try a double chignon. This would suit Kate perfectly and is easy to translate for your own wedding. Personally, I prefer it without a veil, but worn with gorgeous accessories."
