Kate Middleton has stepped out with The Queen and the Duchess of Cornwall today (March 1, 2012) for a high-class St. David's Day shopping trip, Kate - otherwise known as the Duchess of Cambridge - joined her grandmother in law and step-mother in law on a trip to Fortnum and Mason today.
Knowing that the paparazzi would be out in force and, no doubt keen to impress her new in-laws, Kate chose a demure long blue Missoni coat, with a St. David's Day daffodil pinned to it. The fitted coat had a retro feel of the 1960s about it and she topped off the outfit with her favourite light blue suede high heels. She was also wearing the Links of London 'Hope' earrings that William bought for her in 2010. The royal trio weren't just shopping though. According to The Daily Mirror, they were unveiling a plaque to mark the renovation of Piccadilly in London. Kate was spotted sharing a joke with the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.
