Kate Winslet Signs On For God Of Carnage
Kate Winslet is to play a leading role in Roman Polanski's 'God of Carnage' alongside Jodie Foster and Christoph Waltz.
Although the movie is set in New York, Polanski's legal troubles - he cannot enter the US due to allegations of sexual misconduct with a minor in 1977 - mean the shoot had to take place in Paris, according to Deadline.com.
The story tells the tale of two sets of parents who meet when their sons are involved in a fight, leading to both couples questioning their marriages.
Shooting is set to begin in February 2011.
Since her Oscar-winning role in 'The Reader', Kate's career has been relatively quiet.
She will next be seen in TV series 'Mildred Pierce' and is due to play a leading role in Steven Soderbergh's 2011 thriller 'Contagion'.
