Keane has seen off Jack Black's rock act Tenacious D to remain number one in the U.K. album chart.
Comedy rock album Rize of the Fenix was expected to top the chart after impressing in the midweek sales. However, the Tenacious D set only managed second place after Keane retained the top stop with Strangeland.
Black shouldn't be too disappointed however - this third album with bandmate Kyle Gass is the duo's highest placed album to date in the U.K.
Emeli Sande's Our Version of Events drops one spot to three on the new chart, while Adele's 21 is in fourth place and Ren Harvieu's Through the Night rounds out the top five.
In the singles chart, Rita Ora enjoys a second week on top with R.I.P, fending off a strong challenge from fun's hit We Are Young, which is America's biggest selling single of 2012 so far.
Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe remains in third place, while Alex Clare's Too Close is also a non mover at four. Young by Tulisa rounds out the top five.
Meanwhile, Donna Summer's death last week has propelled the disco diva back into the charts - five of her classic singles have re-entered the countdown with I Feel Love leading the way at 45.
