Keira Knightley - Keira Knightley Takes A Turn In Comedy
Never one to be known for her roles in comedy films, Keira Knightley will be taking a much more light-hearted approach to her upcoming film 'Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World'.
Having tackled mental illness in A Dangerous Method, infidelity in Last Night, war in Atonement, rape in London Boulevard and death by organ harvesting in Never Let Me Go, the screen siren must have jumped at the opportunity to take on a more humorous role, even if the film is about the end of days.
However after Seeking A Friend, which also stars Steve Carell, the Pirates of the Caribbean star will be going back to her more dramatic roles when she stars as the titular character in the latest adaptation of Leo Tolstoy's tale is despair Anna Karenina.
The film, which will be her third film alongside director JOE WRIGHT (Pride & Prejudice, Atonement), and will be a welcome return to serious filmmaking for the star, who was last seen in a dramatic role in 2010's A Dangerous Method.
We're sure Keira, who recently became engaged to Klaxons keyboardist/singer JAMES RIGHTON, will be more than happy to return to her favoured dramatic roles, but we look forward to seeing her funny side in the near future.
