Khloe Kardashian - Khloe Kardashian Cuts Ties With 'Liars' Peta
Khloe Kardashian has cut all ties with the animal charity Peta, claiming the woman responsible for flour bombing her sister last week had close links to the organization. Khloe appeared on numerous billboard campaigns for Peta, including the famous 'I'd rather go naked than wear fur" ads in which she appeared nude.
Sister Kim was "flour bombed" in Hollywood while attempting to promote her latest fragrance True Reflection - the assailant allegedly yelled "fur hag" at her before launching the baking product. This led to Khloe doing her detective work and discovering that the woman responsible was Christina Cho - a major Peta activist who has a history of anti-fur protesting, according to Tmz.com. Speaking on her official website, Khloe announced she would no longer be representing the charity, beginning, "Hi dolls. I'm sure you all heard what happened to Kim last week (thank you SO much for the love and support you all showed her), and I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to Peta, despite Peta publicly stating otherwise". She added, "Not only has Peta lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior. I've been a vocal supporter of Peta for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me", before ending, "I will no longer support Peta".
Kim was praised for laughing off the incident in Hollywood, but after taking time to mull over the incident, she has reportedly changed her decision not to press charges and will be taking Ms Cho to court. Peta have reportedly offered to pay the activist's legal fees.
