Khloe Kardashian has urged her fans to think positive.

While the 'X Factor' host has faced some setbacks in her personal life, including failed attempts to start a family with her husband Lamar Odom, she is starting off the new year with a positive attitude and urging others to do the same.

She tweeted: ''Surround yourself with the positive. Misery loves company. Don't get sucked into the negative way of life. Mind over matter. #PositiveOutlook (sic).''

One reason for Khloe's optimistic outlook could be the recent announcement that her sister Kim is expecting her first child with her 35-year-old boyfriend Kanye West.

'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star Kim, 32, wrote on her official blog: ''It's true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby.

''We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo''

Kanye - who has been dating Kim for eight months - first shared the couple's happy news during a performance at Revedl in Atlantic City, New Jersey on December 30.
