Nicole Kidman will be the toast of the upcoming Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) in California as she is honoured with a top prize.
The Moulin Rouge! star has been selected to receive the coveted Cinema Vanguard Award at a special tribute on 5 February (11) as part of the 10-day event.
The trophy, which has previously been given to Vera Farmiga, Christoph Waltz and Peter Sarsgaard, recognises stars who take artistic risks and make a significant contribution to film.
The 26th annual festival kicks off on 27 January (11).
