Fans won't get the chance to see Kim Kardashian and company in full festive mood this year after the family took the decision to scrap a planned Christmas special in the wake of Kim's shock divorce from Kris Humphries, according to the New York Post.
Sources say the clan were in talks to film a festive edition of their reality show, but have now decided against shooting following Kim's separation. An insider also pointed out that family members including Kourtney, Khloe, brother Rob and parents Kris and Bruce Jenner had "too many commitments" to film together over the holidays - saying, "It didn't look promising due to schedule conflicts, but once Kim's divorce happened it was definitely not possible". The 31-year-old has been keeping a low profile since her abrupt divorce from the New Jersey Nets basketball star, but did make an appearance at the Los Angeles mission this week to serve up some thanksgiving turkey to the homeless, along with actresses Jennifer Love Hewitt and Zoe Saldana.
Despite the Christmas cancellation, fans can still get a solid dose of Kardashian action in the coming weeks. The season premiere of 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York' airs on Sunday (27 November, 2011), while sister Kendall Jenner is to star in her own E! special.
