Soul legend Gladys Knight has suffered an odd side-effect from her hours of rehearsals for Dancing With The Stars - her feet have shrunk a shoe size.
The Midnight Train to Georgia singer is currently impressing judges with her fancy footwork on the U.S. reality TV show with her professional partner Tristan MacManus, and Knight admits the lengthy and intense training sessions have had an unusual impact on her feet.
She tells U.S. news show Access Hollywood, "I'd never heard of that (shrinking a shoe size)... and I was dancing and... I'd tap in my loafers and put on my shoes and I stepped out of it (her dancing shoes)! I said, 'What's going on here?' I actually lost a shoe size."
Knight is competing against the likes of Cuban model William Levy, Welsh opera star Katherine Jenkins and tennis ace Martina Navratilova, among other celebrities.
