Kristen Stewart has suffered an injury on the set of 'Snow White and the Huntsman' causing production on the highly anticipated movie to be shut down until at least Friday (21st October 2011). Details of the incident are unclear, but her co-star Max Manganello confirmed the news on Twitter.
According to E! News, the tweet, which has now been taken down, read, "It's a wrap for today. Kristen has hurt herself ... nothing scary. We shoot on Friday". A representative for the movie is yet to respond to requests for comment and the actress' condition remains unknown. After wrapping up filming on the final Twilight movie, Stewart has been busy shooting the fantasy adventure film with Charlize Theron and Ian Mchane. In late September, the 21-year-old was photographed shooting battle scenes in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Prior to his tweet about the injury, Manganello, who plays one of the duke's soldiers, had spoken of his early starts, saying, "Pinewood studios tomorrow morning at 6.30am ouch!! 2hrs drive to go there! I will be a very tiired (sic) warrior". The film, which focuses on the struggle between Snow White and the Evil Queen, is slated to hit cinemas on 1st June 2012.
During a recent interview with MTV News, Stewart talked up the movie's action scenes, saying, "It's not a little girl sitting by a well with little tweety birds telling her what to do and where to go".
