Nickelback frontman CHAD KROEGER has pleaded not guilty to drink-driving. The How You Remind Me rocker was arrested on 22 June (06) in British Columbia, Canada after a police officer noticed his erratic driving. He was then charged with impaired driving and having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. During a court hearing in Surrey, British Columbia on Wednesday (21Nov07), Kroeger's lawyer entered a not guilty plea on the singer's behalf. The trial originally came to court in August 2006, but was postponed when Kroeger's legal team asked for more time to look over the police report. Kroeger, whose driving licence is issued under his real name of Chad Turton, is expected to attend court before a verdict is delivered. If found guilty, he faces a $600 (GBP300) fine and a one-year driving ban.
