Kylie Minogue will duet with her sister Dannii on her next album.

The 43-year-old singer is planning to release a new record in 2013 and wants to line up a string of star-studded collaborations, including with her younger sibling.

She said: ''There could be a few exciting duets and Dannii is a great idea. It may well happen.''

Kylie is also revisiting her extensive back catalogue for the album.

The singer - who celebrates 25 years in the music industry this year - told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''I've also re-recorded some of my older stuff.

''I did a new version of 'Locomotion' in Abbey Road studio. Hopefully people will like what they hear.''

The 'All the Lovers' hitmaker was thrilled to see Adele pick up two awards - British Female Solo Artist and the Mastercard Album of the Year for '21' - at last night's (21.02.12) Brit Awards ceremony because she is such a big fan of the singer.

The Australian beauty - who presented Adele with the British Female Solo Artist prize - said: ''It's phenomenal. She deserves all of this. The world - we - are all a fan of Adele.

''She's talented. She is beautiful. She is young. She has something that touches all of us.''
