Singer Kylie Minogue is "astounded" she's still one of the biggest pop stars in the world, insisting most artists are washed up after 25 years in the industry.
The Spinning Around hitmaker is organising a tour, a reworked album of her classic hits and a TV special in the U.K. to mark her 25th anniversary in music, which she has dubbed K25.
After looking through her history in preparation for the celebrations, Minogue admits she feels "very fortunate" to still be in the spotlight after so many years.
She tells the Daily Express, "I am astounded to be still around after 25 years. That is the truth. I've been doing quite a bit of reminiscing which is not a usual thing for me to do - just because we're preparing for what we're calling K25.
"I've been looking back through a load of old photos and footage. It isn't normal to still be here and looking forward to great things I have planned for next year. I feel very, very fortunate."
