Lady Antebellum star Hillary Scott hit all the right notes at Monday night's (07Nov11) Sesac Nashville Music Awards in Tennessee after landing her second successive Songwriter of the Year trophy.
The Need You Now singer was also honoured for co-writing four of the year's (11) most performed songs and her publishing company, Hillary Dawn Songs, shared the Publisher of the Year prize with Emi Foray Music.
There was yet another big surprise in store for Scott - officials at the performing rights organisation behind the awards show saluted the singer/songwriter's successes by announcing a donation to her favourite charity, myLifEspeaks, which aids groups working with special needs kids in Haiti.
Chris Young's Tomorrow was named Song of the Year at the ceremony and Jim Lauderdale and Ronnie Dunn were among the performers at the glitzy country music prizegiving.
