Lady GaGa has announced 21 European dates in her Born This Way Ball tour.

The 'Judas' singer will kick off the tour in Asia later this month, before bringing it to Europe, starting in Sofia, Bulgaria, on August 14.

She tweeted: ''ATTENTION EUROPEAN LITTLE MONSTERS: THE BORN THIS WAY BALL FIRST 21 DATES ARE HERE. #ImGoingToTheBTWBall (sic).''

The concerts will be the first in Europe performed by Gaga since her The Monster Ball in December 2010.

The stage set for the 'Born This Way Ball' includes decorating the stage as a gothic medieval castle, and having semi-circular a ramp which extends into the crowd and creates a 'Monster Pit' around the main stage.

Gaga will be supported on the dates by rock outfit The Darkness.
