Lady GaGa was forced to move the release date of her latest single 'Judas' forward by four days after an unauthorised version of the track surfaced online over the weekend.
Lady GaGa released her latest single 'Judas' four days early after it was leaked on the internet.
The singer's new track - which is the second from her album 'Born This Way' - wasn't due to go on sale until Tuesday (19.04.11) but is now available to download after an unauthorised version surfaced online on Friday (15.04.11).
According to Billboard.com it was leaked after a London radio station broadcast the track that afternoon.
Music bosses instantly shifted the song's premiere date, releasing it on iTunes straight away.
Gaga, 25, promoted the early release on micro-blogging website twitter, urging her fans - whom she calls her "monsters"- to download the track.
She tweeted: "New single Judas! Monsters, thank you for inspiring me to write this song. Blood, sweat + Judas. (sic)"
The star later posted a picture showing artwork for 'Judas' which was created by photographer Nick Knight and depicts her morphing into a motorcycle.
'Born This Way' will be available next month.
