Lady GaGa is helping a fan who needs to have a matching hip operation.

The singer underwent emergency surgery for a labral tear in her right hip last month and is funding a fan's trip to meet the same team of surgeons, doctors and specialists who helped her in New York.

Twitter follower Emma C, 19, suffers from scoliosis and hip dysplasia and revealed the news online.

She wrote: ''Gaga reached out to me and is hooking me up with her team that did her surgery in NYC as I have been needing a hip replacement for quite some time.

''We're planning on flying out this weekend, all expenses paid, for a consult.

''The gesture is absolutely incredible ... I broke down sobbing. Words can't describe how incredibly Blessed I am.''

The 27-year-old star was spotted recovering in both a Louis Vuitton and a luxury 24-carat gold-plated wheelchair, and the latter has not only been named Emma but will also be donated to its namesake.

Ken Borochov - who created the chair - recently spoke of his feelings when the 'Poker Face' hitmaker made the request.

In an official statement he previously said: ''I certainly wasn't expecting that phone call and have never done a wheelchair but am always up for a challenge and was thrilled to create what I affectionately dubbed the 'Chariot', a chair fit only for a queen.''
