The former Warrant frontman's sentence relates to his arrest in June (09) when he hit a parked car while driving in Hollywood.
Lane, 45, appeared in a Los Angeles court on Thursday and pleaded no contest to a misdemeanour DUI charge after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors.
As part of the agreement, Lane must serve 36 months probation, attend a three-month alcohol education course and complete 30 days of community service where he will help with road work.
In exchange, authorities have agreed to drop a second count of hit-and-run.
