Taylor Lautner forced VALENTINE'S DAY writers to redraft the script after refusing their request to take his shirt off in the movie.
The teenager showed off his honed chest muscles in a number of scenes for The Twilight Saga: New Moon last year (09) after bulking up especially for the role.
But when Lautner was asked to appear topless in his scenes as school student Willy Harrinton in the romantic comedy he refused - because he'll only strip when the script requires it.
He tells GQ magazine, "Originally I was supposed to take off my shirt. The script said we were walking into school and Willy takes off his shirt. I said, 'Whoa, whoa, whoa. Time out. He's gonna take off his shirt in the middle of school? No, no, no'. The reason I took off my shirt for New Moon is because it's written in the book that way. And there's reasons behind it."
