Lawson wowed fans in London last night (06.11.12).

The 'When She Was Mine' group took to the stage at the city's Koko venue, where they were greeted by a screaming audience of 2,000, to play a set packed with tracks from recent debut, 'Chapman Square'.

The band opened with 'Learn to Love Again' and included hits such as 'The Girl I Knew', 'Taking Over Me' and 'Gone'.

At one point in their set, a huge bra was thrown on stage, which bass player Ryan Fletcher picked up and showed to the crowd with a puzzled look and a laugh.

The group - which also includes Andy Brown, Joel Peat and

Adam Pitts - also included a couple of surprise covers in their set, peforming Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call me Maybe' and Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream'.

The band were also joined by violins and a cello player for the last song of the night, 'Standing in the Dark'.

They later tweeted: ''Standing In The Dark to finish the #LawsonHometownsTour. Strings, lights, disco ball and the whole venue on backing vox (sic)

''London! That was amazing! You guys #MadeTHISHappen (sic).''
