Animal-loving actress Lea Michele is fuming after a New York City carriage horse dropped down dead in the streets of midtown Manhattan on Sunday (23Oct11).
The Glee star shot a public service announcement for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals earlier this year (11) advocating for a ban on horse-drawn carriages, and now she feels her concerns have been justified after a mare collapsed during a Sunday morning walk around Central Park.
Michele has taken to her Twitter.com account to remind followers of the cruel life buggy horses lead.
Rallying support for legal action, she wrote, "Just woke up to the saddest news about one of the carriage horses dying the midtown Nyc. This has to stop! Please."
