Leann Rimes cried during the video shoot for her new single on Wednesday (17Aug11) after learning of a homeless boy's touching plight.
The Blue hitmaker filmed the promo for her next track Give and she featured a group of children who rely on charitable shelters to provide accommodation.
Rimes was moved to tears by one little boy on the shoot, and she's hoping her video will help raise awareness of the Stand Up For Kids organisation, which helps homeless children across America.
In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Wow, what an eye opening and moving experience I'm having today. (I cried) just once and it was from a kid saying he felt lonely & he had no friends. My heart broke...
"That's a wrap on a very moving video shoot! I'm blessed to have experienced these kids. They have truly changed my life!!!!!! The kids said it's the best time they've had all year! That's such a compliment. What a joyful day! They all sang w/ (with) me! It's for my video for 'Give' and we are raising awareness for standupforkids.org and children's homelessness in America."
