Actor and eco-warrior Leonardo DiCaprio has sealed his green credentials by becoming an equity investor in the electric car company Fisker Automotive.
Last year (11), the Titanic star became the first recipient of a 2012 Fisker Karma, one of the most environmentally-friendly vehicles on the market.
Now the movie hunk is partnering with bosses at the luxury hybrid brand, who will in turn support his Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation charity.
A statement from DiCaprio reads, "My foundation supports efforts to secure a sustainable future for our planet and all its inhabitants. I am delighted to be working with Fisker Automotive to promote this shared vision."
DiCaprio founded his non-profit organisation in 1998 to work on a variety of environmental issues, including wildlife protection and forest preservation.
Justin Bieber and DiCaprio's rumoured ex-girlfriend Blake Lively are also proud owners of Fisker cars.
