Liam Neeson deals with his grief a day at a time.

The 'A-Team' actor - whose wife Natasha Richardson died after a skiing accident 16 months ago- says he and sons Michael, 15, and 13-year-old Daniel, are "touched" by the messages of support they have received since the tragedy but are still dealing with their grief.

He said: "To be honest, we're taking each day as it comes.

"I'm still getting extraordinary condolence letters from people. It's deeply, deeply touching."

Natasha's last role, recording a voiceover for 'The Wildest Dream' - which features mountaineer Conrad Anker's recreation of the fatal journey up Mount Everest by George Mallory in 1924 - and the explorer admits Liam found it hard watching a screening of the film and hearing Natasha as George's wife Ruth.

Conrad told the Independent Newspaper: "We saw Liam in New York when we had a pre-screening and it was very difficult and challenging for him to hear the voice of Natasha, especially the last reading she does where she says, 'I l can't imagine that you would not come back. I love you so dearly.' "
