Incarcerated rapper Lil' Boosie has obtained his high school diploma while serving time for drug charges.
The hip-hop star, real name Torrence Hatch, was sentenced to eight years behind bars in 2011 and it appears he has been using his time wisely to brush up on his studies.
A photo of Boosie and his family recently surfaced online, depicting the 30-year-old rapper in a traditional cap and gown as his mum proudly shows off his graduation certificate.
The troubled musician recently opened up about his time in prison, telling Spin Magazine he has faced some struggles with security officials.
He told the publication, "It's been hard at times. Some guards hate me with a passion and it shows in some of the things."
Boosie is currently serving time in Louisiana for attempting to smuggle codeine syrup into jail on three separate occasions while imprisoned for a previous drug and gun possession charge.
