Lindsay Lohan Edges Closer To Jail With No Lawyer
Lindsay Lohan is due to present herself to a Beverly Hills judge at 8:30am PST this morning (20th July) to commence her 90 day jail term. In a shock move yesterday Lohan's attorney Robert Shapiro told the Judge in the case that he will be no longer representing her.
Shapiro is best known for his high profile case defending OJ Simpson who stood accused of murdering his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994. Simpson was acquitted during the trial which lasted over 9 months which still stands as the longest trial by jury in Californian history.
It is unclear who will be representing LINDSAY LOHAN in the near future but the young actress seems to be in quite high spirits - she recently left a post on her twitter page saying 'the only "bookings" that i'm familiar with are Disney Films, never thought that i'd be "booking" into Jail... eeeks' and in what could be her final tweet before her term in jail begins "positivity, right".
At least the troubled actress seems to have retained her sense of humour on the eve of such a dark day.
