Lindsay Lohan has found herself in the centre of another public controversy. The hacker who claims that he was responsible for leaking the Playboy shoot pictures of Lindsay Lohan stated that he didn't actually steal the pictures but only found them on a file sharing site.
The entire photo collection from the January/February 2012 issue leaked online on Friday (9 Dec 2011). The man, who refused to give his name, said to Fox News that he had found the stolen pictures when they had been uploaded to a Russian file-sharing site. The hacker admitted: 'I just pieced it together. All I cared about is how I got them'. He further elaborated that this is not the first time he's done this to Playboy: 'When I've done it before, Playboy sent an e-mail to take down the links, and I do'. Insisting that he has no idea to the original source of the leaked pages, the speculations can still continue over who may have hacked the server. The issue, for which Lohan reportedly received $1 million, is released on December 16 (2011).
Lindsay Lohan is currently on holiday in Hawaii away from her community service duties at the Los Angeles County morgue. She will return to Los Angeles on Monday, and is scheduled to return to court on Wednesday for a probation update.
