Country duo Locash Cowboys narrowly escaped serious injury this week (ends16Jun13) when they were involved in a frightening tour bus crash on their way to a show.
The stars, Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, were travelling to a gig in Marinette, Wisconsin on Friday afternoon (14Jun13) when a front tyre on their bus blew out, sending the vehicle hurtling off the road.
The group subsequently posted a picture on Twitter.com showing emergency services at the scene, and assuring fans they were not badly hurt, just "shook up and sore".
The message reads, "Bad bus crash! Shook up & sore but alive & ready to rock Wisconsin tonight! Stay Tuned!"
The band made it to the gig and performed as planned.
Fellow country star Jo Dee Messina performed at a show with the band, and she was shocked when they showed her pictures of the crash, writing on Twitter, "Omg (Oh my God)!!!! Bus accident did show today with (LoCash Cowboys). They had horrific accident. They showed me pics (sic). Horrific!"
