Lohan Was A Joy To Work With In Online Skit
The man behind Lindsay Lohan's hilarious online love hunt insists the actress was a joy to work with - and she came to him with the idea of lampooning the tabloid stories about her.
The Mean Girls star poked fun at her wildchild reputation and recent split from girlfriend Samantha Ronson in a spoof dating advert for Will Ferrell's comedy website FunnyOrDie.com.
In the skit, she laughs off rumours DJ Ronson's family is seeking to file a restraining order against her and claims she is insane, out of control and on the verge of bankruptcy.
In the spoof, Lohan says, "Hi, my name's Lindsay and I'm searching for love. I'm recently single, I think, and I'm looking for someone I can spend the rest of my life with - or, at least, the rest of my probation with... I'm an actress, a singer, an entrepreneur, and I have single-handedly kept 90 per cent of all gossip sites in business. I would define my personality as creative, a little bit of a night owl, a workaholic, shopaholic, and according to the state of California, an alcoholic, as well as a threat to all security guards if they work at hotels."
And Ferrell's FunnyOrDie.com partner Eric Appel, who directed the skit last Saturday (11Apr09) admits the idea was mostly Lohan's.
He says, "She came to us last Wednesday, wanting to do this... She just wanted to address all the crazy things people are saying about her in the media. We pitched her a bunch of ideas on Thursday... We wrote it (on) Friday, shot it Saturday, edited it on Sunday and then it went out.
"She was cool. She was a normal 22-year-old girl. She was a blast to work with, really fun."
