A film about four Muslim men detonating explosives during the London Marathon has been removed from British Tv network Channel 4's schedule following the Boston Marathon bombings on Monday (15Apr13).

The comedy about a fictional attack on the British capital was scheduled to debut next week (22Apr13) - the day after the London Marathon, but executives have pulled it after the horrors in Massachusetts.

Sherlock's Benedict Cumberbatch was among the film's stars.

A spokesman for Channel 4 says, "In light of recent tragic events, Film4 has decided not to proceed with the planned broadcast of Four Lions."
