Rocker Lou Reed has paid tribute to his former Syracuse University professor in a new published poem.
The former Velvet Underground frontman studied under literary great Delmore Schwartz in the early 1960s and still clearly has a lot of affection for the poet and essayist today.
Reed's piece, O Delmore how I miss you..., features in the new issue of Poetry magazine.
It's the not the first time the singer/songwriter has paid tribute to his mentor - Reed dedicated the Velvet Underground's European Son to Schwartz, whose best known work, In Dreams Begin Responsibilities, was published in 1937.
