Courtney Love has reformed her rock act Hole after giving up on solo career plans.
After numerous delays and false starts to her solo album Nobody’s Daughter, Love will release the project under the name Hole.
She has confirmed her former bass player Melissa auf der Mar has added backing vocals to the record, and Love hopes she'll become a permanent member of the revamped act. She has also recruited guitarist Micko Larkin to join the band, according to NME.com.
The new Hole album is expected to be released at the end of 2009.
