Former Sex Pistols star John Lydon is to make a cameo appearance in a movie about punk music.
The singer - also known as Johnny Rotten - will appear in Theory and Practice, a film adapted from an autobiography by Norwegian author Nikolaj Frobenius.
The movie tells the story of a teenager who turns to music as an outlet for his grief following the death of his father. Lydon is believed to be making a guest appearance as himself.
Theory and Practice will begin filming in Oslo, Norway later this month (Apr10), according to Variety.com.
