Country music legend Loretta Lynn has decided to retire fan favourite LOVE IS THE FOUNDATION from her live shows after hearing Faith Hill's rendition of the song.
Hill recorded the cover for upcoming album Coal Miner's Daughter: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn, and the song now has a special meaning to the veteran.
She says, "I ain't going to sing it no more - it's fantastic. She made me ashamed I ever sung it."
Carrie Underwood, Kid Rock, Alan Jackson and Martina MCBride are also featured on the tribute album, but Lynn admits she's disappointed Pink couldn't be a part of the project.
She tells USA Today the Trouble singer had hoped to record Fist City, but couldn't get the OK from her record company.
